You ride that much in below freezing temps you'd build a shield to warm your engine? That's "true class" dude! I'm not at all afraid of rain, but freezing temps worry me a bit. Got close to getting caught in black ice once. Scared the shit out of me. My bike can stay snug in the garage on those days!

I would love to lengthen my front end too. But I'm not paying $1500 for the parts from Seeger. I'm not saying it's not worth the money, but Hell, I paid $1900 for my whole bike!
The front is raked out enough stock to get close to the look I want.
If I could get into a new front end for about $500 I'd probably do it.
